Anise Pine Tar Soap Bars

$7.00

Anise Pine Tar Castile Soap is a natural soap handmade from high-quality ingredients such as olive oil, steam-distilled essential oil, and pine tar. It has a rich, smoky tar aroma. The sweet licorice scent of anise compliments the smoky tones of pine tar.

Pine Tar is best known for its soothing, moisturizing properties for skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Versatile in use, it serves as a body wash, shampoo, and shaving soap, reducing the need for multiple products.

Old-Fashioned Pine Tar Soap Bars

Pine tar soap bars are excellent all-in-one soaps for the face, body, and scalp. Essential oils such as tea tree, rosemary, cedarwood, and eucalyptus are added to these bars to accentuate the strong, natural smoky-tar aroma of pine tar.

Perfect for Dry and Sensitive Skin

Soap bars enriched with pine tar are particularly beneficial for those with irritably dry or sensitive skin. They work effectively to moisturize and cleanse the skin while helping to alleviate irritation caused by conditions such as dandruff, eczema, or psoriasis.

The natural properties of pine tar help promote a healthy skin barrier, making it an ideal choice for soothing irritated skin.

Handy Sizes

3-ounce pine tar soap bars measure 2.5 inches wide x 2.5 inches tall x 1 inch thick, though they shrink slightly with time. At this size, pine tar soap bars are easy to grasp, making them perfect for scrubbing hands, faces, and scalps.

Never worry about breakouts from hotel soaps because these 3-ounce soap bars pass the TSA carry-on guidelines.

5-ounce pine tar soap bars measure 3.25 inches wide x 2.5 inches tall x 1 inch thick when cut and shrink slightly over time. These larger bars suit larger hands perfectly, and they make an impressive gift! Available through special order.

Long Lasting

Pine tar soap bars tend to shrink slightly and harden faster than typical traditional castile soap bars. However, the harder they get, the longer they last! To ensure your pine tar soaps age well, wrap them in paper and store them in a cool, dark place (away from direct sunlight, excess humidity, and heat). The paper will keep moisture off your bars as they cure.

While in use, pine tar soap bars last longer when set up out of puddles between uses. Setting them upright on a soap deck in an area that gets some airflow is the most ideal setting.
