Directions for Use
- Measure:
- One tablespoon of powder for a small-sized, lightly soiled load.
- Two tablespoons of powder for a medium-sized, medium-soiled load.
- Four tablespoons of powder for a large-sized, heavily soiled load.
- Sprinkle on top of dirty laundry inside the washer.
- Wash as usual.
This soap should not need commercial fabric softener. However, if you choose to use one, try using 1/4 – 1/2 cups of white vinegar in the rinse cycle instead of a commercial softener. It not only cuts soap residue but also leaves clothing (and the washing machine) sweet and fresh for pennies on the dollar.
Different Sizes
We pack our handmade laundry soap in 1 or 3-pound bags. Due to the comparable cost and labor of working with the 1-pound bags, multiple 1-pound bags will cost the same $8 per bag, but they will ship altogether under one shipping rate.
3-pound orders are packed in 3-pound bags, and multiple 3-pound bags will be charged at $22. However, I do give a discount for ordering 12 pounds at a time.
12-Pound Orders
12-pound laundry soap orders come packaged as FOUR 3-pound bags. You can choose different scents for each 3-pound bag, up to four scents in fragrance oil or essential oil. Simply add a 12-pound laundry soap order and note your preferred scents at checkout.
